Traditionally kantha blankets are made from saris, dhotis, lungis and other garments that are no longer wearable. The layers are stitched together using a ‘kantha’ stitch and decorated with embroidery. A very soft and special cotton blanket.
*These items are vintage and may show signs of wear or age (see photos of where the fabric has worn on the back and some small repair patches.) These blankets have been washed and can be washed, but as they are vintage they need to we washed carefully.

Samples
Samples are posted 1st Class and shipping is charged at 90p for the UK, £2 for Europe and £3 for the rest of the world.
Export Duty
If your parcel is being shipped outside the UK you will not be charged VAT, but you will subject to local VAT and import duties. These charges will be applied by your government at the point of delivery, therefor Cloth House is not responsible for any additional taxes and cannot offer any compensation.

We offer a sampling service online and we strongly recommend our customers to order samples in order to check a fabrics suitability, as cut fabric cannot be returned unless faulty.
Other products or vintage items which are not cut fabric may be returned to us if unsuitable.
