Traditional Mashru is a rare fabric to find and we have limited stock of these fantastic stripes.
This is a hand loomed fabric, primarily produced in Punjab and western India. Mashru is a warp-faced fabric, double-layered with cotton on the back and silk on the front. The silk yarns are woven in a satin stitch style texture giving the fabric a beautiful luster. Mashru is heavier and stronger than pure silks, and easier to sew. Popular for dressmaking and heavy linings.
This Mashru sateen is a beautifully drapey dress-weight fabric in rich jewel like colours. With a loose satin stitch texture and a woven multi coloured stripe. Handloom in 5m length.

Samples are posted 1st Class and shipping is charged at 90p for the UK, £2 for Europe and £3 for the rest of the world.
Export Duty
If your parcel is being shipped outside the UK you will not be charged VAT, but you will subject to local VAT and import duties. These charges will be applied by your government at the point of delivery, therefor Cloth House is not responsible for any additional taxes and cannot offer any compensation.
