We will be closed this Jubilee bank holiday from 2nd - 5th June.
Any orders placed after midnight on Tuesday 31st May will be processed on Monday the 6th June.
Please bear in mind that some of our fabrics, especially our block prints, ikats and hand-loomed cottons, are limited stock and will sell out fast.
We take care to ensure our product photos accurately represent our fabrics likeness, however some computers are calibrated differently and will show colours differently. We always recommend customers to purchase a sample before ordering their fabric to check the suitability, as cut fabric cannot be returned unless faulty.
We recommend pre-washing our (washable) fabrics before sewing, as some cottons and most linens will shrink very slightly after the first wash. Wools and silks should not be machine washed.
Our natural dyed fabrics and hand block printed fabrics should be washed with care with mild detergents and preferably hand washed to preserve the colour for longer. A cap of vinegar in the water can help fix these dyes on the first wash. If you are unsure how to care for your fabric please check the product page online or email firstname.lastname@example.org with your query.
Orders and delivery
We make every effort to ensure our stock levels are up to date, however some of our fabrics are limited stock and may sell out. In the event of us not being able to fulfil your order we will contact you to offer an alternative or a refund.
Once your order is placed it is not possible to add to or amend your order, so please get in touch as soon as possible if you have made a mistake. If you place another order before your first order is dispatched we will try to combine the shipments but this isn’t always possible.
Once you have placed an order you will receive an order confirmation email. This is a VAT invoice and has our VAT information at the bottom. Your order will be dispatched within 1-3 working days depending on how busy we are. If you ordered fabric, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. We ship our fabrics using a tracked 1 day service with either Royal Mail or DHL. If you ordered samples you will receive a shipping confirmation but no tracking number as these are posted 1st class. More information can be found on our Delivery & Returns page.
We accept payment by card, Paypal or Apple Pay. All card payment information is stored securely by Stripe or Paypal and cannot be accessed by us.
Samples are available to order online. Simply click the sample button on the fabric you are interested and a sample will be added to your basket. Samples are posted with Royal Mail 1st class.
All of your orders are wrapped carefully in brown tissue paper or tote bags, and tied with string. We only use brown paper packaging envelopes wherever possible, which are recyclable and reusable. Large heavy parcels may be wrapped in plastic to protect the fabric. In this case, we will endeavour to reuse the plastic our deliveries come in.
Unfortunately, we do not offer trade accounts at the moment. If you would like to order a large amount of fabric please do contact us before hand at email@example.com
If you are shopping for fabrics from the online shop, they may be online exclusives, in which case please buy online and contact us about click & collect.
